Lilly Lew, MA University of California, Santa Barbara Graduate School of Education Associate Researcher
Lilly Chung Lew is an associate researcher for the University Community Links Project and a doctoral student at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Lew began her career as a junior high school classroom teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District. As a literacy specialist, Lew is a Los Angeles Writing Project consultant for several teacher professional development projects in Los Angeles County. She has presented and published articles focusing on multicultural education, community-based scholarship, and digital literacy practices, In addition to her research and consulting projects, Lew is an active contributor to the American Education Research Association (AERA) as both campus liaison and peer-reviewer for multiple divisions. She is a coordinator for the Center for Education Research on Literacies, Learning & Inquiry in Networking Communities
