Acquiring additional languages in schools around the world

Nuances and findings of language instruction in unique cultural contexts

Teaching and learning additional languages around the globe is complex and undefined. American teachers can learn about their own teaching through the findings of a multinational case study research project. A team of university professors researched International Baccalaureate teacher training and conducted interviews with Primary Years Programme (PYP) language teachers, coordinators, principals, and parents in five different countries. The researcher is from North America.
