Yuri (Angie) White, MA EC Language Centre; Los Angeles Assistant Director of Studies

Yuri (Angie) White currently serves as the Assistant Director of Studies at EC Language Centre; Los Angeles. As the ADOS, she has implemented a reflective observation model which promotes professional development and reflective teaching. In addition, Angie mentors teachers in areas of lesson planning, materials development and how to teach writing. Prior to her current role, Angie spent nine years in S. Korea as an English teacher, curriculum developer, and teacher trainer focusing on methods for teaching writing. Angie is also a TEFL trainer with the TEFL Academy where she enjoys teaching EFL methodology and sharing her experiences teaching overseas. She has presented at numerous conferences and delivered many workshops and presentations focusing on writing and various EFL topics. She received her MA TESOL from Anaheim University in 2012.
